Valentine's Day in Connaught Place
Connaught Place, New Delhi
There is so much to do in Connaught Place. My suggested itinerary would be to go have a scrumptious South Indian breakfast in Sarvana Bhavan and then head to Agrasen Ki Baoli which is located on Hailey Road and is short walking distance from Jantar Mantar. Spend an hour or two in peace with your beloved and come back to Janpath. Shop as much as you like and bargain hard. Eat some street food and catch a movie in any of the multiplex. After the movie, head to any decent restro-bar. For refinement head to United Coffee House reminiscent of British Raj or for better menu and service go to QBA. If it’s sizzlers and Hookah then head for Gola. There are two Gola Restaurant one of which offers Hookah after 8:00 PM and the other has delicious sizzlers and a private lounge open after 7:00 PM where you could spend some quality time in privacy over drinks and food.

Lodi Garden, New Delhi
This one is my favorite if it’s not a weekend. A perfect place for relaxing, talking, walking, photography, sightseeing and spend some really quality time. This sprawling lush park is a delight to visit. This park houses a number of tombs and mosque dating back to Sultanate era in Delhi. The monuments belong to rulers of Lodi and Sayyid dynasty, last of the sultans of Delhi who could not built city as was the precedent of those times as Timur had just ransacked Delhi of its wealth.
The park also has some of the cleanest and well maintained restrooms. You could spend an entire day with your spouse/partner in perfect serenity. Paved pathway surrounded by columns of Deodar and Chir tree adding to the romance of the gardens.
Located on the borders of the garden is the Lodi, Garden Restaurant. There are a few restaurants where you don't much care about the food being served; you just go there for the ambience. Lodi: The Garden Restaurant is a dream place to dine especially in winters as you are served on the lawns overlooking picturesque Lodi Garden. If you crave for shopping or more dining option, then the fancy Khan Market is nearby. Lodi Garden is an amazing place to spend your Valentine’s Day in Delhi.
